The Race is On

Those who follow me here or on social media know that we just moved across the state about a month ago. In that month’s time, we’ve celebrated Christmas, the New Year, I’ve traveled twice to out-of-town speaking engagements, and we’ve had five snow days.

Consequently, I haven’t really worked.

So, a few days ago, it occurred to me that I have a March 1st deadline for a suspense novella for a box set. In my mind, as I was wrapping Christmas presents amid moving boxes, I had until “spring”, and since it was just December, I had plenty of time.

Yeah. It’s due, in its completed form, five weeks from tomorrow.

I need to have it written and as edited as I can get it this week. Because my editors need time to do their magic with it.

Suspense, Christian, romance — 10 chapters.

I plotted it out last night, in my mind.

Ready, set….
