Please Help A Melody for James Final in the Prestigious RONE Awards!

A Melody for James, Book 1 in the Song of Suspense Series, is up for InD’Tale Magazine’s prestigious RONE Award in the Inspirational Category.

Phase II of the awards is a public vote.

Exhausting Busy Week

For the first time in a LONG time, our family is going on a family vacation that has NOTHING to do with family, friends, or the military. We leave Thursday evening and are headed down to Louisiana, and will split our time between New Orleans and Gulfport, Mississippi. I am SO ready for a break, for relaxation, for family time.

The day we return is the publication date for A Melody for James (stay tuned for purchase links!), and the garden will need some serious care after a week’s absence. Everything will get crazy busy again. For today, though, while I’m insanely trying to prepare my house for our house sitter, catch up on laundry so that I can pack, and seriously weed my garden so that nothing dies in our absence, I’m just imagining how wonderful it will be to kick back at the pool in our resort or sip coffee at Cafe Dumond.

Hallee the Homemaker Gets Interviewed Twice!

I was interviewed for the June issue of Book Fun Magazine. It was supposed to be about me as a writer, but the interviewer was so interested in Hallee the Homemaker that she focused on that side of me during the interview.

2012 RONE Award Nominee

Please VOTE before 1 June!

The finalists in this round will then be read and judged by a group of professionals in the industry to determine the very best in indie and small published books of 2012. They will then be awarded the prestigious RONE award, itself, at the formal ceremonies, August 9th, at the Golden Nugget Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada. If I final, Gregg and I are already talking about attending the Romance Novel Convention in Las Vegas in order to attend the awards ceremonies (and will likely arrange a book signing while we’re there!)

The Prestigious RONE Awards

InD’Tale Magazine — a popular online magazine that promotes the interests of self and small press published authors, has nominated TWO of my Jewels as Inspirational Novel of the Year for 2012 in the first ever RONE awards.
