Interview: K.R. Morrison

Welcome to Readers Write to Know! I asked you, my readers, what questions they would ask their favorite authors if given the chance. This week, I’m excited to introduce to you K.R. Morrison. K.R.’s book, Be Not Afraid, sounds absolutely fascinating. I read the first chapter on her blog, and was immediately intrigued by the concept of a Christian Horror novel, as well as her setting. Plus, she’s in the Willamette Valley, which is where my parents are from and is also one of my favorite places in the world, so that makes her extra cool to me. Please enjoy her interview as much as I did.

Interview: Shannon Kennedy

Welcome to Readers Write to Know! I asked you, my readers, what questions they would ask their favorite authors if given the chance. This week, I’m so pleased to introduce to you Shannon Kennedy. Shannon is a horsemanship teacher and substitute teacher who comes up with story ideas while she mucks out stalls or drives her bulldozer named Frou Frou. I had the best time with this interview, and hope you enjoy Shannon’s answers to your questions as much as I did.

Saturday Mornings

Saturday mornings are my quiet mornings. Gregg and Kaylee typically sleep in – they’re the sleepers of the family. The boys don’t really sleep in (5:30 this morning), but once they’re up and I feed them (the only morning of the week I give them cold cereal), I put in a full length feature film for them (Spider-Man 3 this morning), and spend the next 90-120 minutes surfing Pinterest uninterrupted.

Interview: Carrie Pulkinen

Welcome to Readers Write to Know! I asked you, my readers, what questions they would ask their favorite authors if given the chance. This week, I am happy to introduce to you paranormal author Carrie Pulkinen. Carrie grew up next door to a cemetery, so the slide into authoring paranormal stories seemed like the natural thing to do. Her current release mixes Scottish vampires with American werewolves, which just sounds fun. I also love that she wrote out a story idea on a bunch of cocktail napkins. I have been there and done that myself! I hope you enjoy her interview as much as I did.
