I would L-O-V-E to win The Book Club Network’s Book of the Year for 2013! This magazine goes out to 280,000 readers, and is a pretty big deal to me. The biggest problem with this is that I’ve been nominated three times, so I’m competing with myself!
A Melody for James has been nominated for the August Fiction book of the month at The Book Club Network – which is pretty fantastically awesome because Sapphire Ice WON for July fiction book of the month!
Several people nominated A Melody for James. Here are a few quotes from the nominations:

This is what the person who nominated Sapphire Ice said:
I recently read Sapphire Ice by Hallee Bridgeman and I think it would be a great book for the July book of the month in fiction. I’ve often read books where a wealthy man falls for an unwealthy woman, but often they really didn’t seem plausible. However, I think Hallee did a great job with this theme in the book. The characters are very realistic and the more you read, the more you realize the depth of the characters when you begin to learn their backgrounds and how they came to be where they are today. There’s humor, romance, and also some excellent lessons the reader can learn about growing in a relationship with Christ and how that fits into everyday life. I liked this book so much, I was thrilled to learn that it was the first book in The Jewel Trilogy and I didn’t have to wait for the other two books to be published!! Read them ALL! They are all so good!
What an amazing nomination!
