This is from a collaborative work in progress on which my husband and I are working. We haven’t titled it, and for now just call it Boy-Girl.
Sally narrowed her eyes and stared at him, then pursed her lips and said, “Well, gosh. You know, David, I never had a brother but I imagine that’s just exactly how he would have kissed me if I ever did.”
He felt blood rushing into his cheeks and against his will his jaw tightened. He really didn’t want to say anything but caught himself muttering, “Sorry.”
“Sorry for what? Sorry for kissing me like I was a prize bass you just yanked out of the pond or sorry you’re still — and believe me when I tell you, I can’t even believe I’m saying it — still in love with Julianne McNeill?”
I’m so grateful for your visit, today.

What fun to write something with your hubby . . . if we could all only be so lucky:-) Great job!
Poor Sally. Nobody wants to be kissed like they are a smelly old fish.
Ha! Prize Bass! A very funny six!
I liked your six sentence sunday. I just posted mines check it out. http://www.soniawrites.com/2012/07/six-sentence-sunday-brushing-teeth.html
Terrific six, Hailey. Though now it’s going to take a while to get the image of being kissed by a fish out of my mind. 🙂
