She raised her head and gripped the lapels of his coat and looked at him with eyes so intense they glittered.  “That’s not why I’m with you.  I don’t care about the jewelry or the money.”

His eyes sobered as he tilted his head and looked at her and said,”I know that, Robin.”

She jerked away and reached her hands behind her neck, fumbling with the clasp.  “People will see me and they’re going to think — ”
