God has given us all perfect gifts.
As each one has received a gift, minister it to one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.
1 Peter 4:10
He gave them to us so that we can use them, not so that we can compare ourselves to others and come up short in our own eyes. When we devalue our talents, water them down, and think we’re not worth anything, that our gifts are not ‘good enough’, that they’re not worth the work or the effort, then we are taking what God has given us in perfection and smashing the unopened box as if the gift means nothing.
Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning.
James 1:17
Don’t let the world take from you what God has given you! When we devalue our time or our work – or even ourselves – in the name of humbleness or modesty or some misplaced fear of pretentiousness, then we’re basically squandering our gifts.
There are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit.
1 Corinthians 12:4
Live out loud!
“His lord said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant; you have been faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.’
Matthew 25:23
Use your gifts, use your talents, and multiply them! It’s why God gave them to us! We were made in His image, and He loves us without restraint. It’s time we love Him back with the same enthusiasm.Let your gifts from the Father of Lights shine – and be amazed at what He will do with you then.
