Military Characters

I was born in Nuremberg, Germany, when my father was stationed there. He was active duty my entire childhood. I graduated high school when he was stationed in Ft. Benning, Georgia, and he retired when my daughter was 2-years-old. The military life is infused in my personality as much as any other part of my life.

My husband, Gregg, was also raised in the military. His father was stationed at Ft. Bragg, North Carolina, when he moved away from home. In college, Gregg joined the military and soon after was deployed with the 101st Airborne to Desert Storm. Six months after we married, he deployed with 20th Special Forces Group (Airborne) to Afghanistan. He retired after 30 years in the military in January 2024.

I love the military culture, standards, and life. Because it is such a part of who I am, I have incorporated the military in many different books. Here is a list:
