About this ebook

FBI Special Agent Lynda Culter is investigating an ecoterrorist organization in the Alaskan wilderness when her partner is taken captive and murdered before her very eyes. The only person who can identify the key players, Lynda gets assigned to take part in a joint operation in Istanbul to take the organization down.

As a woman in a Muslim country, she'll find it much easier to move around undetected with a fake husband. Unfortunately for her, the man assigned to play the role is none other than US Army weapons specialist Bill Sanders--the man who crushed her heart into a million pieces back in college.

With a cargo bay's worth of hurt and baggage between them, these two consummate professionals must play their parts perfectly if they hope to stop those responsible for bombing oil pipelines, killing innocent civilians, and threatening to destabilize the oil markets. But love long buried has a way of resurfacing at the most inopportune times--and protecting Lynda has become Bill's primary focus.

With her partner and he also was someone special to her. They were investigating an organization in the wilderness of Alaska. A nightmare began when they confront the men. The next step to bringing them down was faking being married and a Muslim. A strong character in Lynda enduring losing a partner, and carrying on to bring the organization down. Found it had a good tight plot, with tension of a mission that was well done. Given ARC by Net Galley and Revell for my voluntary review

4.5 stars This is book two in the Love and Honor Series, (there is also a prequel), however it is a stand alone book, you will miss history of the the Army special forces team, but you will not have any trouble following along.. Hallee Bridgeman does a great job at developing her characters and her story line. I love how we get both perspectives of this story, the male and female side. Bill Sanders has a lot of baggage to work through, he is not expecting his past to come face to face with him o

This book is amazing. Once you start reading it you will not be able to put it down. The author weaves a story of faith while crafting a thriller. The surprising twists will keep you on the edge of your seat. This book is my favorite in the Love and Honor series thus far. I can't wait for the next book.
