It’s been a rough couple of weeks in my writing world.
Many of you know that Marion Ueckermann pass away from Covid-19 in late June. She was part of our Save the Date collection and had written the wedding for the month of March in the book.
After she died, it really hit our group of authors hard. We’d been praying so hard for her to get better, and she regularly sent us updates from the hospital until she couldn’t, then we got updates from her good friend.
Well, just as we were recovering from that, an author got injured and didn’t get to finish her book, so we had to push the release date of the collection to October 12th. We all agreed an extra month was something we needed because of all of the grieving, illness, and injury that the authors in our group had gone through in the last year.
Then we got news that Shoshanna Gabriel passed away on September 11th. Shoshanna had written the December wedding for the collection.
Seriously, ya’ll, this has rocked our world. We don’t even know how to process all of this.
We are still releasing the collection on October 12th. We are dedicating it to Marion and Shoshanna. Many of the proceeds from the preorders are going to their families.
Please pray for our little group of ten remaining authors. We are burdened with grief right now.
Would you like to pre-order the collection? You can find it at these links:
Amazon, Barnes and Noble, AppleBooks, Kobo
We are also giving away this bracelet to one person who preorders the collection. Each book in the collection is represented by a charm:

Hallee,
My prayers are with you and all your fellow writers. What a terrible hit you have all taken with the deaths and injury. God bless and comfort you all.

Thank you so much.
I’m so sorry to hear all of this. I did know about Marion’s passing, but I had no idea that Shoshanna Gabriel had passed away. I remember when she joined ACFW because her story was so inspiring. To go from writing erotica to becoming a Christian fiction author…it just gave me so much hope. I was encouraged by her story. I am devastated. I pray for your writing group that you would find comfort and peace and the ability to move forward and continue writing.
It has definitely been a tragic year. I lost my husband in January. Trying to tell some stories because it’s my calling & I know he would want me to move forward.
