Oh Deadlines...Deadlines...and Life

If you who preordered the final book in the Love and Honor series, Love Makes Way, may have noticed that you did not receive your copy of the book for the March release. I pushed the March release to April 4th and had to cancel that, too. I've now set the release date for June 6th.

Those of you following our story know that we're in the process of refurbishing the house we had rented out and moving to it. Well, ya'll, that's a serious ton of work -- especially considering Gregg and I both also work full-time jobs. Our final move-out date is April 30th. We hope to be out long before that.

The good news about Love Makes Way is that it's written! All 20 chapters are complete. The story is fantastic and so much fun. It is simply not edited yet. And by not edited I mean what's written is my first, rough draft, filled with notes about research to myself and gaps in story because I know I wanted something there but didn't really know what yet.

I know. My head is a scary place in which to dwell.

I pray that I'll have the book completely finished and ready to publish on June 6th. Thank you for your patience.

Love Makes Way

Tony Award Winning actress Olive Carter needs a break from the bright lights and big city, so she takes a temporary contract to star in a show on board a cruise ship. She needs to take the down time to decide what she wants to do with her future.

Gerrry McBride and several members of his Special Forces A-Team are on board the ship this week to attend the wedding of their former medic. Gerry is stunned when he sees the poster about the show. He last saw Olive Carter after rescuing her from a helicopter crash ten years before.

He quickly seeks her out and the two very quickly feel the attraction. She wonders if God brought her to the ship with the intent of bringing her back into Gerry's life. Gerry has no doubt that Olive has always been the woman for him.

The romantic interlude is interrupted when motivated and highly organized weapons dealers and mercenaries execute a well-planned action to take over the entire ship. Gerry and his team go into action. They must save the lives of all the passengers, even if they must sacrifice everything along the way.
