I love the history and fireworks of the fourth of July! I love the Star Spangled Banner and America the Beautiful. The tune you get to hang out with family and friends.

I never thought of this movie as patriotic, but my husband was watching Captain Phillips (Tom Hanks) and it made me so proud of the U.S. Navy Seals. Great depiction of a real event. I started watching and couldn’t stop.

Star Spangled Banner, of course! 🙂 I can’t really come up with a patriotic movie, though.

All American Kid by Garth Brooks! Awesome song off his new album Rage Against The Machine

  1. Favorite patriotic movie would probably be Disney’s version of Johnny Tremain, loved the book as well. And my favorite patriotic song would probably be The Battle Hymn Of The Republic or The Star Spangled Banner.

America the Beautiful is one of my favorites. God gives us choices and we take it for granted. I enjoy sitting around socializing with family & friends. Just think of all the sadness. But most of all appreciate what every human life has done to fight for ourvcountry. God Bless & Amen.

Proud to be an American is a great song but I also really like Michael w. Smith’s “There She Stands.” We’ve used it several times in the Independence Day fireworks show my family puts on for our community. We run a fireworks stand every year to fund our fireworks show so I am exhausted by July 5th, but it’s a good kind of exhaustion.
