  1. Hallee, I just loved your account of the first time you met your husband. I hope you’ll continue to use the love you have for him and your daughter to help you create wonderful romance stories for your readers. Have a great anniversary!!! 🙂

    1. Thank you so much!

  2. Wonderful story! Love at first sight is a special gift from God . . . Sometimes we just know something is right, and there’s no reason to wait . . . and wait . .. and wait. Congratulations on ten wonderful years!

What great photos!! And what a wonderful story. Happy anniversary!! My husband and I were also married on June 28th! We’re celebrating 26 years today. 🙂

    1. Thank you, Missy! And, Happy Anniversary to you, too!

  3. Your story is very much like mine. My ex actually got his girlfriend pregnant. My saga was more drawn out, but in the end God gave me a great second husband. I enjoyed reading your story.

    1. God is good. 🙂
      Thank you!

Beautiful romance story! Maybe you should put it into print but with fictitious names. Tony and I have a similar story – I probably need to write so it can be handed down to our grandchildren. If I ever do, I will share with you. Love

    1. I’d love to hear it, Paula!

  4. I love that you got your “Happily Ever After” and I think my favorite part is what he prayed for. Don’t you love that we think we know what we need but that the Lord always knows better? Your story is beautiful. Thanks for sharing!

    1. Gregg and I often laugh about how he had to repent of the sin of dictating to God how God would work.

      Thank you!

  5. Happy Anniversary Hallee and Gregg! Yours is truly a wonderful “love at first sight” story. Congrats on 10 years and here’s to many more to come!

    1. Thank you so much, Taryn!

  6. Hallee:
This was a lovelyl story. And I’m so glad you found each other. And I hope you have at least a hundred more years together.
My husband and I met on a blind date. Another one of those instances that you don’t know whether you can trust the guy enough to get in the car with him. We’ve been together 37 years.
    Teresa R.

    1. I love blind date successes!

  7. Awww, that’s so sweet. What a great beginning. Fiction just can’t compare to real life can it? May you have many more happy years.
    Aurthur Murray? Really?

    1. Yep! Arthur Murray! It’s how I remember the name.

  8. WOW–I love it–that beats a fictional romance any day! Happy Anniversary and what a beautiful photo!

    1. Thank you!
My husband is not a fan of having his picture taken. I treasure everyone one I manage to snap.

  9. Congrats to a wonderful Christian couple!

    1. Thank you, Rose!

  10. I’m so glad you shared this story. You two are so cute!

I can’t wait to see you all aging at our next meeting.

    1. We look forward to seeing you again, too!

  11. Always a treat to read a true love story. I love asking couples how they met. Each one is distinct and fun to listen to. Also glad you two have stayed in love, and grown closer. That is the icing on the story. Thank you for sharing with us.

    1. Thank you, Cecilia!

  12. Your husband and CD also helped my husband and me, at one of the most peril-filled points of my life. It began one of the most unlikely friendships in history, I think, Greg and Alan. Nothing is ever too tough for you two–and you never even ask for more time! I think of you two whenever I face a difficult anything! I have my flag within reach right now.
LOVE you. You two were made for each other.

  13. Happy Anniversary and thank you for sharing your love story Hallee!

I can never get enough of true stories like these…so encouraging! I shared your story with the readers at InspiredChristian.com.

May God continue to bless you and your marriage!

    Cheers,
    Brenda

Your story is beautiful. I met my husband and 2 weeks later he asked me to marry him. We just celebrated our 58th anniversary. He is the love of my life and a wonderful Christian. God has blessed us so much and we are both so thankful for the love and life we share together.
Love your books and look forward to many more.

    1. I love this so much. I can’t wait for my 58th anniversary!
