Day 13: Goals
My daily goals include: making sure my husband feels all of the love and respect for him that I have inside of me; raising my children with integrity and discipline — teaching them to love their neighbors as themselves and to love God with all of their hearts, souls, and minds; keeping my home orderly and loving, making it a haven for my family daily.
As for my future goals, ALL I desire is to do God’s will in my life — whatever that may be. There was a time when I know without a doubt He wanted me to start Hallee the Homemaker. Recently, I feel certain He wanted me to start publishing my books, and put the right people in my life at the right time to mentor me through the process. Now that Sapphire Ice is published, it’s very difficult not to set “sales goals”. I never want this to to be about making money, but I want it to be serving God. There’s a human side, a prideful side, of me that I battle with that.
What’s next, I don’t know. At this time, I’m guessing it’s to keep writing for Him — in my blogs and in my novels. If that changes, I’m certain He’ll equip me.
I’m so grateful for your visit, today.
